Steering Committee members to present high school configuration recommendations to Board of Education Feb. 11
At their final meeting, the High School Configuration Steering Committee along with three members from the Visioning Task Force reconvened to discuss their final recommendations regarding the future and framework of Broken Arrow High School. This group will present three recommendations to the Board of Education at their regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the Education Service Center.
In addition to the recommendations, they will also present their options for the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) facility scheduled for the second phase of the bond issue.
“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the members of the High School Configuration Steering Committee and Visioning Task Force for their work, dedication and time on this project throughout the past three years,” Superintendent Dr. Janet Dunlop said. “I highly encourage the community to join the Board members on Feb. 11 to hear the recommendations from the committee.”
