Students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
Broken Arrow High School (BAHS) will continue its success in digital learning through 1:1. Your student is fortunate to already have invaluable experience with their Chromebook and digital learning - which will continue throughout their career at BAHS.
Purchasing or Renewing Insurance
The Broken Arrow Public Schools Student Technology Insurance Program has been established to give parents peace of mind through the ability to purchase insurance and provide HelpDesk support for the student's device. If purchased, the insurance package will cover the repair or replacement costs of the Chromebook and only damages to the the charge cord. Lost or stolen charge cords will not be covered by the insurance (damaged charge cords must be turned in for replacement).
The cost for protection is $30. The policy will start the first day of the school year and last 12 months.
The insurance program is voluntary, but families are highly encouraged to participate. To purchase insurance, please visit www.baschools.org/insurance.
Please keep in mind that if insurance is not purchased at the time of device acceptance, parents/guardians are responsible for the full cost of any repair or replacement of all damage to or loss of the Chromebook and the charge cord. Please read the details in the Student Technology Insurance Program overview to learn more about the various costs associated with the student devices. Also, visit the "FAQ's" section for more information.
Acts of intentional damage will not be covered by the insurance.
