JOM School Supply
For more than 20 years, the Indian Education Department has offered basic school supplies to Broken Arrow students who are enrolled in the John O'Malley program. The annual school supply distribution event for eligible students will be held at the Broken Arrow Options Academy located at 412 S. 9th St. on the following dates:
- Aug. 5: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Aug. 6: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Aug. 7: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
To be eligible for JOM services the following guidelines need to be met:
- JOM enrollment requires a copy of the student’s Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood or Tribal Membership card on file with Broken Arrow Indian Education office. There will be no exceptions for those in the process of getting their card.
- Due to new federal guidelines, a new 506 form will need to be completed for each existing student during school supply pickup.
- Parents will also need to complete a Needs Assessment survey for each JOM student within the household. These surveys will be available at school supply pickup.
