Welcome to Broken Arrow Public Schools

On behalf of Broken Arrow Public Schools, welcome to the Tiger family! On your first day of employment, you will attend an orientation at 8:30 a.m. at the Education Service Center, located at 701 S. Main St. During the orientation, you will learn about the district’s policies and procedures, worker’s compensation, W-4, technology and benefits.

To get a head start on paperwork, feel free to print (one-sided only please) and complete as much as possible. You may leave unsure areas blank, as we will go over all paperwork during orientation.

New Hire Forms

1. New Hire Paperwork for the Recruitment Team

2. Instructions to schedule fingerprints

3. Payroll Paperwork:

4. Benefits Department Forms:

What to Bring

All new employees will need to bring proper identification for I-9 processing. Visit the Department of Homeland Security to view acceptable forms of ID. You will need to bring one from List A OR one from List B and List C.

Be sure to bring a voided check or documentation from your bank with routing/account information for direct deposit. Broken Arrow Public Schools does not issue paper checks. If you do not have a checking account, the payroll department will provide info on an alternative option.

Sign up to have your digital fingerprints completed at your preferred location. Bring the receipt provided with you to orientation.

Bring beneficiary(s) social security number(s) and their date of birth for beneficiary forms you will be required to complete.

Certified staff only:  Bring official college transcripts (undergraduate and graduate, if applicable) and your certification.

Bring a smile. We will be taking your picture for your district ID card.

What to Do Afterwards

Because orientation is held on your first day of employment, you will need to contact your supervisor for further instructions. Fingerprints and benefit (health, dental, vision) enrollment forms are due back to HR within five days of hire date.

*Note:  All benefits will start on the first of the month following your official hire date.
