Friday's Announcements

1.January is Healthy Weight Awareness Month -Try being more active during the day for example while at the mall take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator.

2.Keep Box Tops - OMS Box Top Corner
    First, I want to thank everyone who’s participated so far in the Box Tops contests, we have raised $105.30 towards the purchase of charging stations.

    Second, I want to thank a couple local sponsors, Not Your Grandma’s Cupcakes for the Gift Certificates for the drawing and to Walmart on Elm for the sugar cookies for our Tiger     Hour winners. 

    Third, below are total results and Box Tops first semester contests winners:

 

        Total Box Tops per grade:    6th – 585 = $58.50      

                                                          7th – 368 = $36.80            

                                                          8th – 100 = $10.00                             

        Tiger Hours Winners:   6th grade Vance – 309  

                                                 7th grade Aunko – 116   

                                                 8th grade Carroll – 58        

        Semester Drawing Winners:

Lastly, keep those Box Tops coming as we will have next semester drawing and the overall year contest as well, remember to be sure to include your Name, Grade & Tiger Hour on your envelope or baggie, because that’s how the different contests are being tracked. Imagine what One Child could do …  Imagine what One School could do … 

        1 Box Top per Month x 5 Months = $0.50        $0.50 x 600 students = $300.00

        5 Box Tops per Month x 5 Months = $2.50      $2.50 x 600 students = $1500.00 

        10 Box Tops per Month x 5 Months = $5.00    $5.00 x 600 students = $3000.00
