Special Olympics Program
Broken Arrow Public Schools boasts one of the largest school-driven Special Olympics programs in Oklahoma. Annually, Broken Arrow athletes compete in the Special Olympics of Oklahoma Summer Games, where competitions include bocce ball, softball skills and track-and-field events. These athletes have the opportunity to work with Broken Arrow coaches and peer partners throughout their training process. These exceptional individuals have a true passion that is highlighted by the enthusiasm and engagement in these extracurricular events.
Broken Arrow's Special Olympics program is hosting a parent meeting for those interested in their child participating on the Special Olympics team for the 2018-19 school year. Parents will receive a packet of important info and forms that will need to be completed.
The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Broken Arrow High School in the media center, located in the front of the main building.
