The Child Nutrition Department makes every effort to accommodate special dietary needs. In order to do so, the department needs documentation from a licensed physician. An assessment of the dietary needs must be made by the physician and an original copy of the assessment needs to be on file with the Child Nutrition Department.
The eight most common food allergies include milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish and shellfish.
